Conference FAQs
|
|
Q: What is Standard Manuscript Format - you refer to it several times.
A: For our purposes, and the purposes of many agents/editors in the industry, standard manuscript format consists of the following:
- 1" Margins all around
- Double-Spaced
- 12 point Courier, Courier NEW, Dark Courier, (and many editors/agents prefer Times New Roman) fonts. We require the one of the Courier formats for our contest entries because it ensures that all entries will have approximately the same number of total available words to be judged.
- Double-spaced, 12 point type should result in either 24 or 25 lines per page.
- 1/2" indentation for the first line of each paragraph
- The first line on the first page, and of each chapter begins on line 8 (1/3 the way down the page).

Where's the Workshop Schedule? |
|
Conference FAQs
|
|
Q: Where is the detailed schedule for the workshops, so I can know when they are?
A: To eliminate confusion, and minimize corrections, our detailed workshop timetables are not published until immediately prior to conference. There are a number of reasons for this, the primary one is travel schedules for faculty. We also find that changing needs for Audio Visual equipment and adjusted room size projections may change both the time and location for rooms. Every conference registrant will receive a detailed workshop schedule in their registration packet at check-in. |
